REP MEMBER, IHONVBERE BAGS BEST COMMUNITY SERVICE LEGISLATOR AWARD

A House of Representatives
member, representing Owan Federal Constituency (Edo North) in the green chamber
of Nigeria’s National Assembly, , is set
to receive a community service award.
The award ceremony is
slated for 12th December, 2020 in Abuja, Nigeria’s Capital city.
In a release by Mr. Bright
Iriekpen, his legislative aide, Prof Ihonvbere will receive the award alongside
some top Governors, Ministers, Senators and Captains of industries, also nominated
for varying awards.

“The award is in
recognition of Prof Ihonvbere’s enormous contributions to humanity, societal
re-engineering, national integration, positive disposition towards notable
causes on national issues and community development,” Iriekpen said.
Continuing, Iriekpen disclosed that the awards organizers, Topflyers Magazine International, selected his principal of the Best Legislator And Community Service Of The Year 2020, category.
Recently, his Constituency
Office organized an essay competition for secondary schools students across Owan
East, and Owan West, the two local government areas that make up his area of representation
in the National Assembly.
