Treasury House, Abuja Gutted By Fire
A fire outbreak has occurred
at the Treasury House at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The fire outbreak, which
remote causes have not yet been ascertained as the time of this report, is said
to house the office of the Accountant-General of the federation.
The building is located on
Samuel Ladoke Akintola Boulevard in the federal capital territory (FCT).
It was learnt that the
fire began on the second floor of the building and razed down a section of the
AGF’s office.
Men of the federal fire
service were later called in and assisted by staff of the National Emergency
Management Agency (NEMA) to put out the fire.
